CasePrep Asia | Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and CasePrep Asia ("CasePrep", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of caseprep.asia. Please read them carefully before using our platform. By creating an account or using any part of our service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use CasePrep.

1. About CasePrep

CasePrep is an online consulting interview preparation platform that provides:

  • Learning content (structuring, mental math, behavioural, industry primers, and more)
  • AI-powered case interview practice via text chat and voice
  • 1:1 case interview sessions with ex-consulting professionals ("Consultants")
  • CV screening and editing services

Our services are intended for individuals preparing for management consulting recruitment, primarily targeting analyst and associate-level roles at leading consulting firms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CasePrep. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • You will use the platform only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms
  • All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

3. Account Registration

3.1 Creating an Account

To access paid features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful registration information
  • Keep your account credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately at help@caseprep.asia if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
  • Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

3.2 One Account Per Person

Each account is for individual use only. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions, credit limits, or any other platform feature is prohibited.

3.3 Account Termination by You

You may close your account at any time by contacting help@caseprep.asia. Closing your account does not entitle you to any refund of unused credits or fees paid.

4. Services and Access

4.1 Content Access

Upon purchasing Content Access, you receive lifetime, non-transferable access to CasePrep's learning content library, including written guides, case walkthroughs, and other educational materials published at the time of purchase and added thereafter, at our discretion.

"Lifetime access" means access for as long as CasePrep operates the platform in its current form. We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove individual content items.

4.2 AI Interview Sessions

AI interview sessions are consumed from a credit balance. Credits are purchased separately (in single or multi-session packs). Each session:

  • Deducts one credit from your balance at the moment you initiate the session
  • Has a maximum duration, depending on interview format, after which it expires automatically
  • Generates a performance evaluation and written feedback report after the session ends
  • May be conducted in text chat or voice format, depending on the mode selected

4.3 Consultant Interview Sessions (Real Interviews)

Real interview sessions with Consultants are consumed from a real interview credit balance. Credits are purchased in packs or as individual sessions. Each session:

  • Is scheduled through the CasePrep platform at an available time offered by a Consultant
  • Has a duration of 1 hour
  • Is delivered via Google Meet or Zoom
  • Generates a written feedback report from the Coach within 48 hours of the session

4.4 CV Screening and Editing

CV screening and editing services are available as paid add-ons or included with certain purchase packages. Upon submission, you agree to:

  • Upload only your own CV or a document you are authorised to submit
  • Allow our team and AI systems to review and process the document for the purpose of delivering the service

Feedback on CVs is provided for educational and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee any employment outcome.

5. Payments

5.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and may also be shown as an estimate in your local currency for reference. Actual charges are processed in USD.

5.2 One-Time Purchases

Most CasePrep services are sold as one-time purchases (not subscriptions). You pay once and receive the corresponding access or credits.

5.3 No Refunds

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for unused services.

This applies to:

  • Content Access purchases
  • AI interview credit packs (including unused credits)
  • Real interview credit packs (including unbooked or forfeited sessions)
  • CV screening and editing services, once submitted

By completing a purchase, you expressly acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy at our sole discretion in cases of demonstrable technical failure on our part.

5.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or charges associated with your purchase in your jurisdiction. Prices displayed do not include taxes unless otherwise stated.

6. Credits, Sessions, and Forfeiture

6.1 Credit Expiry

Purchased credits do not expire, provided your account remains active. Credits are forfeited upon account termination.

6.2 Session Abandonment

Once an AI interview session is initiated, the credit is consumed regardless of whether you complete the session. If you:

  • Close your browser
  • Navigate away from the session
  • Experience a disconnection not caused by a verified platform-side failure
  • Allow the session to expire

The credit is forfeited with no refund or replacement.

6.3 Real Interview No-Show and Cancellation

If you fail to attend a scheduled real interview session at the confirmed time, the credit for that session is forfeited. Real interview sessions cannot be rescheduled or cancelled once confirmed. It is your responsibility to ensure your technical setup (microphone, internet connection, platform access) is functional prior to the session.

6.4 Coach Cancellation

In the rare event that a Coach is unable to attend a confirmed session, we will restore the credit to your account and offer priority rebooking.

7. Recording and Transcription Consent

7.1 AI Interview Sessions

By initiating an AI interview session, you consent to:

  • Your spoken or written responses being transcribed in real time
  • The session being recorded (audio, for voice sessions)
  • The transcript and recording being stored and made accessible to you via your account
  • The transcript and recording being reviewed by CasePrep administrators for quality assurance and platform improvement

7.2 AI Training Use

At signup, you will be asked whether you consent to your anonymised session transcripts and recordings being used to improve CasePrep's AI systems. This consent is separate from the recording consent in Sections 7.1 and 7.2. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting help@caseprep.asia. Withdrawal of AI training consent does not affect sessions already used for model improvement.

7.3 No Recording of Others

You must not record, screenshot, screen-capture, or otherwise reproduce any portion of a CasePrep session - including Consultant-led sessions - using external tools. CasePrep provides authorised recordings through the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 CasePrep Content

All content on the CasePrep platform - including but not limited to written guides, case studies, frameworks, AI-generated feedback, recordings, and software - is owned by or licensed to CasePrep and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the content for your own interview preparation. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publish any content from the platform
  • Share login credentials or session recordings with third parties
  • Use platform content for commercial purposes, tutoring, or resale
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from the platform

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to CasePrep (including CV documents and spoken responses during sessions). By submitting content, you grant CasePrep a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and analyse that content solely for the purpose of delivering our services and (where consent is given) improving our AI systems.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about CasePrep, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its systems
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten Consultants or CasePrep staff
  • Use the platform to train, benchmark, or develop competing AI or interview preparation products
  • Attempt to extract, scrape, or reproduce the case bank or content library by automated or manual means
  • Circumvent any payment or access controls
  • Share platform access, content, or AI-generated feedback with third parties for commercial gain

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these standards, without notice and without refund.

10. Coaches and Third-Party Service Providers

10.1 Consultants

Consultants available on CasePrep are independent contractors, not employees of CasePrep. CasePrep facilitates the booking and delivery of sessions but does not guarantee the outcome of any coaching session or the suitability of any Coach for your individual needs.

10.2 Third-Party Services

CasePrep uses third-party services to deliver its platform. Your use of these services through CasePrep is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. CasePrep is not liable for any downtime, errors, or service failures attributable to third-party providers.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

CasePrep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Accuracy or completeness of content
  • Fitness for a particular purpose (including fitness for any specific consulting interview process)
  • Uninterrupted or error-free access
  • Specific employment outcomes

Nothing on CasePrep constitutes professional career advice, recruiting advice, or a guarantee of employment. AI-generated feedback is provided for educational purposes only and reflects a simulated interview environment.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CasePrep and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity
  • Damages arising from reliance on AI-generated feedback or Coach feedback
  • Any outcome related to consulting recruitment processes

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to CasePrep in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CasePrep and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of the platform
  • Content you submit to the platform
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

14. Modifications to the Service and Terms

14.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

14.2 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use of CasePrep after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Taguig, Philippines.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CasePrep regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
